Introduction

Here we will list some of the companies we have used for advertising in the past and some we still use today. Hopefully this will help you decide which companies to use for your own website. Some of the companies we used generated literally no income while others generated surprisingly large amounts.

Revenue Pilot	Link in tons of different ways, full customisation, huge 60% payout! Verdict: Highly Recommended
AllPosters	Sell posters through your website and get paid a huge 30% commission! Verdict: Highly Recommended
Maxbounty	Recently acquired Leadcrunch & offers some of the highest CPA payout rates available! Verdict: Recommended
Bidclix	Did not provide relevant ads but perhaps we should have experimented with it a bit more. Verdict: Average
Adreporting.com	We have yet to experiment with this service. Verdict: Undecided
Fastclick	Looks good, we may experiment with it in the future. Verdict: Undecided
PopupTraffic	We were not very happy with this one, earnings were low and we had doubts about the integrity of the reports. Verdict: NOT Recommended

It is important to display ads which are relevant to your website because otherwise your visitors will not be interested in the ads. For example, if you run a games website, displaying ads to dancing sites will probably not work very well for you.

Do not overload your visitors with ads. You should try and avoid popups as visitors tend not to be impressed by them. With all the toolbars and visitors closing popups as soon as they open, they are largely ineffective.
